Meet R. Tayden Waller

New to the world as of Friday the 25th at 4:17pm is our little boy R. Tayden Waller, who weighed in at 7lb 11oz and was 21 inches at birth. It was a wild ride as Christen's water broke the night before (at 11:45pm), things progressed smoothly to where she was fully dialated by Noon on Friday, then active labor for 2.5 hours until her contractions stalled out. A tired mom got an IV and tried to rest for a little while, then after another hour and a half mom finally got to push him out. There was some collateral damage along the way, which in retrospect is the reason for the slow down and lead to the need for surgical repair of some internal tearing on Christen. But, all is well in babyland and after 48 hours Tayden and Christen have bounced back and are doing wonderful. Here is a summarized photo series of the journey.
