Carribean Dreamin'

My mom and I were talking the other day about our next vacation, maybe some time next year, and I stumbled upon Islands website to search for the perfect vacation spot.

With a description like this:

"Shades of jade, aquamarine and amethyst in deeper waters turning to translucent opal near sandy shores ... water and land seemingly inseparable ... secluded beaches opening onto tranquil cays ... Great Exuma is known to be the opposite of a tourist trap -- no cruise stops and no crowds... its seclusion offers the chance to hide away on a pristine white-sand beach... some days, you may be the only one sitting under a palm tree on a beautiful beach... adventure-seekers will be enticed by the endless number of activities available: sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing, among others..."

And pictures like these:

how can you not find yourself daydreaming of such a place?! What is your favorite vacation spot? We're looking for suggestions!

  1. Well...after seeing the photos you just posted, I may have a new favorite!

Most of our travel has been within the United States...but one of my most favorite spots ever were the Grand Tetons in Jackson Hole Wyoming! Beautiful in the spring and early fall...and eating at the Mangy Moose Restaurant is a must...you won't be disappointed...Kim tried Rocky Mountain Oyster here for the first time when she was 8 because she loved seafood!
