Well, mark another of the ol' 1001 list. Got to see Xavier Rudd again in concert. With the release of his new album, he's on tour after taking last year off. We were super stoked to go to Portland and see him (for the obsessive fourth time) and his performance didn't fail. Albeit a short set as he was the opening act, still fantastic. We met up with an old friend from my high school that I hadn't seen in almost 15 years (ok that made me feel old) with his fantastic girlfriend. It was the perfect venue for a reunion. We stayed and discovered Rodrigo y Gabriella, man can they jam, and enjoyed the rest of our night away.
