Sunday was filled with celebration because it was my first Mothers Day and our 6th anniversary.
Rich made me breakfast in bed (chocolate chip pancakes, mmmm...). We then packed up and headed out to a local lake where Max could expend some energy and we enjoyed the scenery.
That night we had a wonderful dinner over at Rich's sister's house and celebrated with Rich's mom and step-dad, also. We had a great time Bbq-ing tri-tip (Santa Maria style) and just hanging out.
]Our Anniversary this year was a little bitter-sweet. We've gone to Astoria to celebrate every year since we moved to Oregon. Well, it would have been a little difficult this year with a 2 week old!
Instead we stayed close to home and went out to dinner, Tayden's first night out...he slept the whole time.
Rich got my favorite chocolates from Elbow Chocolates to celebrate as has been tradition (what a yummy one huh?!).
The night ended with Tayden's first bottle. It was a bit more quiet than years past, but with our little bundle in our arms, it was all we could ask for!
You had to go and have the most adorable little boy...now I want one...Kelly would like to speak with both of you ASAP!!!!!
