Freezer Paper Shirt

I wanted to make a shirt for Tay's birthday that wasn't "birthday" themed, so he could wear it more than just the one day. I ran across this tutorial on using freezer paper as a stencil. It's as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Trace your image onto a piece of freezer paper and cut out shape.

2. Shiny side of the paper down, iron onto the shirt.

3. Paint in stencil. Make sure you put cardboard in between the shirt before you start to paint so it doesn't run onto the back of the shirt. Allow to dry thoroughly, peel stencil off and voilĂ ! Perfect party-time apparel.

Oh I imagine many freezer paper projects in my future. No blank surface will be safe!
